Crimson Coast Dance Society presents: The Moving Voice of Canada; Diverse, Excellent, Unique150+ Years of Splendid!


The 19th Annual InFrinGinG Dance Festival: Dancing In The Belly Of The Dragon, July 6 to 9, 2017 takes place alongside Save On Foods DragonBoat Festival for the 5th year and features some of Canada’s most extraordinarily inventive, interesting and successful artists!


Performers present traditional dance from the rich cultures of people who make up our country and our city. Also presented are fusions of cultural practices with today’s artist’s contemporary voices and contemporary dance genres.


Take in 4 days of Splendid! Ticket INdoor performances at VI Conference Centre, include engaged opportunities to explore the dance as it’s unfolding. FREE OUTdoor performances at Maffeo Sutton Park offer performances and opportunities to dance along!


Featured artists represent: Snuneyumuxw First Nation, Philippines, Thailand, Greece, South East Asia, Africa. Enjoy Temple Dance, Cacao Ceremony, Thai Classical Dance called Kohn, Live Jazz and tap, and a Samba and Reggae Dance Class! There will also be a community performance from Body Of Water Project, a solo with Samantha Letourneau, a Flash Mob and a Splash Mob!
