Writing Life, a six-week women’s writing circle with Mary Ann Moore.

Nourish Yourself. Honour Your Voice. Write Your Stories.

In the Writing Life women’s writing circle with the overall theme of “There’s music in us,” you’ll get in touch with the stories and poems ready to emerge along with the many signs of spring.

Taking a second look at what you first wrote in the circle will offer another opportunity for honing in on the discovery meant to be found there. This sort of “homework” will help you stay with a daily practice. As always, you can share what you’ve written in a welcoming circle.

The theme of the circle comes from a line from a poem by Jack Gilbert, “Horses at Midnight without a Moon” in which the speaker “who suddenly smells flowers / and realizes the snow is melting / out of sight on top of the mountain, / knows that spring has begun.”
