Local storyteller Seana Kozar will be presenting three stand-alone storytelling shows in honour of World Storytelling Week, including a show sponsored by the Around Town Tellers at the Unitarian Hall on Sunday, March 24. All the exciting details are below.
Seana Kozar, storyteller and host of CHLY’s new live storytelling broadcast “Flying by Wireless” (Mondays at 10 a.m.), will tell from her new work “Tales from the Treehouse Perilous.” Each performance from Seana’s Tales will be unique and feature different stories from her original collection. Her stories weave together mythology and folktales in a fantastic universe in peril just beyond the veil of modern life.
Stories may tell us “here be dragons.” They may tell us how to beat them. Sometimes though, there are stories that tell us dragons may be the least of our worries and those that aren’t within us might just be on our side.
They say that when the spring winds make the trees chime,
the Fair Folk are on the march to dark purpose.
