Registration is now open online at bcwriters.ca for the Federation of British Columbia Writers’ third annual Spring Writes writing festival, with an exciting lineup of workshops and presentations, featuring writers you know and love (Lorna Crozier, Kathy Page, Bill Stenson, Betsy Warland, Rhonda Ganz, Carleigh Baker and many more), a Saturday publishing event with a visit from Toronto publishing lawyer Warren Sheffer, plus opportunities to just hang out with other writers and network. This festival is accessible to everyone, with many free events and others affordably priced.
The Federation of BC Writers will host their third annual Spring Writes Festival in downtown Nanaimo May 2–5, 2019. This year the theme is “Where Will My Words Take Me?”
“Anyone who has ever put a pen to paper, has asked themselves that question,” says FBCW president, Ann Graham Walker. “Through four days of excellent workshops and presentations, Spring Writes will give writers the opportunity to explore where their words can take them, both literally and figuratively.”
